Dear Families, Staff, and Guests,

Welcome to Shenandoah Elementary School! Our mission is to develop critical thinkers, lifelong learners, and confident, productive citizens by providing a comprehensive curriculum within a safe and supportive learning environment. The faculty and staff are dedicated to assuring the success of all students.

Our parents are involved in all aspects of the school. Last year, volunteers spent over 15,000 hours assisting the students and teachers. High expectations and a team effort are critical aspects of the school culture.

This past spring we began the first phase of our much needed reconstruction project. Though there will be challenges, we will work together to create the positive energy necessary to sustain our academic success while building a completely new learning environment.

Everyone is encouraged to become a PTA member, and we welcome your participation in the many activities and projects that support our school's success. Please learn about the Shenandoah Foundation, School Advisory Council, and Parent Leadership Council organizations. It takes "everyone" to create and maintain excellence.
